Doc's Friends | Our Music

 

 

Bluegrass/Gospel music is what we are about.  It is ministry, worship, fellowship and fun.  We know and enjoy numerous professional and hometown musicians.  Favorites:  Isaacs, Doyle Lawson/Quicksilver, Ricky Skaggs, Posey Hill, Larry Sparks, fellow jammers from Paragould, Bono, Mountain View.  Thanx to Steven Cole and Rick Nunn for their tech support.


We use gospel songs we grew up with.  We use bluegrass songs that are special to us.  Some of our songs are written by Lance Monroe--In Heaven With You, He Knew, Got No Grace, Yes I Will.  Do We was a product of the effort of the entire band in the middle of  a practice session.

 

 

CD1 - Practice – recording of practice session experimenting with different mics and stage lineup. Some people heard about and wanted to have a copy. It’s just a practice session.
